This privacy policy explains how Cedar (the "App") handles your data.
Data the App Collects
### AI text processing
This app uses an AI text-generation feature. When you invoke an AI action, the text you provide and the options you select (such as tone or length) are sent to our first-party AI proxy at ai.scalingwebapps.com. The proxy forwards the request to a large-language-model provider via OpenRouter (https://openrouter.ai), which routes it to the selected model (for example, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, or Anthropic Claude). The generated text is returned to the proxy and then to the app.
What this means for your data:
- Your text is sent only for the duration of the request and is not stored by the app, the proxy, OpenRouter, or the model provider beyond what is required to complete the request.
- Your text is not used to train AI models. OpenRouter and its partnered providers process API traffic under no-training policies.
- The AI provider API key is never included in the app binary. The proxy holds the key server-side; the app authenticates to the proxy with a per-app key only.
- For billing and abuse-prevention we record anonymized usage metrics only (request count, token count, and the model selected). We do not store the content of your requests or the generated text.

Subscriptions and Purchases
Subscription and in-app purchase processing is handled by Apple via the App Store and by RevenueCat, our subscription analytics provider. We receive anonymized purchase and subscription status information necessary to deliver the features you've paid for and to provide customer support. We do not see your full Apple ID or payment card details.

Data the App Does NOT Collect
- We do not collect personally identifying information beyond what Apple provides as part of receipt validation.
- We do not use third-party advertising networks.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
- We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Your Rights
You may delete the app at any time to stop all data collection. To request deletion of any data associated with your purchases, contact us at the support address below.
